The genesis of Eurybia Nostos began with the incredibly talented artists, boat builders, sailors and designers Buckely and Rebecca Smith. The property and the abutting “Commons” were purchased circa the early 1980s. Buck and Becky began by constructing the two story cabin from which they worked to build the main Lodge. Construction on the Lodge began around 1989-1990, continued through the 1990s, in parallel with Buck and Becky’s journeys by sailboat around the world. Purchased in 2019, the new owner began a process of restoration and recovery of the original dream and vision.
